For the eleventh entry in the ‘30 Day Song Challenge’ I am instructed to list “a song from your favourite band”. That’s not as easy as it sounds. I listed my favourite song by my favourite band on Day 01 of this challenge of musical self discovery. Oh well, despite the arduous task of trying to come up with a convincing enough rationale that explained why I had picked one fabulous song over all their other fabulous songs, I present to you ‘Burn’ by The Cure.
The Same Deep Water As You

The first instalment of the Audio Justice 30 Day Song Challenge features my favourite song. Of all time. Ever. It’s named ‘The Same Deep Water As You’ and is featured on The Cure’s 1989 masterpiece ‘Disintegration’. Those unfamiliar with the music of this great band might know frontman Robert Smith best as the star of the 2011 UK Census.
